Daily Maintenance Tasks
Check the OptiView/graphic control center displays.
Check the bearing oil pressure on the SYSTEM screen if the compressor is functioning. And check the oil level in the reservoir; the oil level should be between the upper and lower sight glasses. If needed, drain or add oil.
Check the water pressure and temperature that’s entering and leaving is correct on the SYSTEM screen.
Check the chilled liquid pressure and temperature that’s entering and leaving is correct on the SYSTEM screen.
Check the condenser saturation temperature on the SYSTEM screen.
Temperature will be based on the condenser pressure that’s sensed by the condenser transducer.
Check the compressor discharge temperature on the SYSTEM screen, which should be at 219° F / 104° C during normal operation discharge.
Check the current of the compressor motor on the SYSTEM screen.
Inspect the unit for any signs of wear or excessive dirt on the condenser tubes. Make sure that the temperature difference between the liquid leaving the condenser and the saturated condensing temperature do not exceed the difference recorded for a new unit by more than 36° F / 2.2° C.
